WERE you born after the year 1914? If so, you have lived your entire life during “the last days” of the present system of things. (2 Tim. 3:1

Crazyguy218 hours agoThey just say whatever they want and people will just believe because it’s gods organization. The people in the organization are just so ignorant and arrogant at the same time.
Ray Franz said JW's are "Captives of a Concept". Once they accept the concept that the Governing Body is who they are claiming to be, everything they say from then on is gospel even if it makes no sense or gets changed later.

Why are Jehovah's Witness Tennis players allowed to "serve two masters"?
I think in the tennis world they refer to this as playing doubles. .

We Do NOT need Doctors and Lawyers after Armageddon
Supposedly nearly the entire population of mankind will be gone after Armageddon and all of it's existing dwellings will be empty of their inhabitants. The comparatively few survivors of Armageddon would theoretically be able to take up living in any of the countless houses or buildings that were available. There wouldn't be an immediate need for builders until the population out numbered the dwellings.
In terms of medical care, the last JW understanding that I was taught, was that survivors of Armageddon would gradually gow to perfection during Christ's 1,000 year reign. The thing that they didn't teach us was what would happen to those Armageddon survivors during that 1000 year reign, who had pre existing terminal or chronic illnesses before Armageddon began or to those who injured themselves or became sick after Armageddon? Wouldn't Doctors be needed until perfection was reached?
The whole thing is such a hoax . I would love to see somebody stand up during one of TM's public discourses and challenges him. Trouble is, he's always on Video.

Anyway coming back from my blunder?
by Crazyguy2 inmy oldest boy got pissed that i started going back to meetings so i had one last conversation with him as he moved out.
(only went back to try and not loose whole family) during the conversation things got a bit heated and i mentioned a couple of false prophecies in the bible the rest of family heard so now they think i don’t believe at all.
guess their right think my going back was just a ruse, yes that’s true to.

There's not enough detail in your post to be clear about what's exactly going on but from what I can tell:
You don't believe and they do....so let them believe and you quit talking about their beliefs.
You don't want to go to meetings....so don't go.
You are faced with moving out but don't want to..so don't do it.
You want to keep your family....so keep it.
Let them be the ones to go to the meetings, move out or leave you if they want.... why is this all up to you?
Why?? because JW's have conned themselves and those around them into thinking that when it comes to religious beliefs, they have the upper hand and that everyone must triangulate their way around them.
Just stay where you are, carry on with your life and your own personal beliefs, be considerate of theirs but in a calm and firm way, stand your ground. As far as I can see, your only blunder was giving them far too much power giving their rules far too much consideration and look where it got you.
Don't make it easy for anyone to shun you. Don't just go away....carry on as you normally would and make them be the ones to adjust themselves around you. Let your friends and family scurry away when they see you coming if that's what they choose to do but don't change one thing ,for them. They only have as much power over you as you let them have.

What was the retirement plans you heard brothers talk about if any
by JimmyYoung ini know some would not think about retirement.
i had one brother who would pioneer as he could afford and when he paid off his home he was about to collect social security.
he made enough that his plan was to work two to three days a week and pioneer the rest of the week.

I’ll retire in the grave. What’s life without working?
True, being retired isn't the key to happiness but for those who's health is failing or who aren't able to go at the pace they once did, it's good to have that option.
Also, one can pursue work in a field that they enjoy more or in a location they prefer, without necessarily having to make a lot of money at first.
It's all about having options if and when you need them.

Electric Cordless Yard Tools - Does Anyone Else Use Them?
by RubaDub ini must say, i have had my battery mower, trimmer, blower for about a year now and could not be happier (ryobi 40 volt stuff).
the same battery works in everything.
just plug and play.. yes, they are more expensive to purchase, probably 30% to 50% more than gas.

I read somewhere that that cars are so much cleaner burning these days, that within a few years, in Los Angeles, the combined air pollution that lawnmowers and blowers put out, will surpass that of cars.
I bought a battery lawn mower about 8-9 years ago but it failed to hold a charge, within a few months. I returned it and got another one and the same thing happened.
I'm hearing good things about the updated technology and would consider getting one now.
